The national road DN 19 runs in general
along the western, north-western border of Romania.
Starting from Oradea goes through
the plain of Crisuri - Ierei and vineyard Valea lui Mihai arriving after
99 km in Carei. Another 36 km. and we reach the town of Satu Mare County Residence.
From Satu Mare to Sighetul Marmatei DN 19 crosses the famous
ethno-tourist area The Land of Oas (Tara Oasului)
parading the county of Satu Mare through Huta Pass 587 m altitude. Approaching approx. 20 km from the entrance to Maramureş County
to the town of Săpânta.
